Grain School in the Field 2021

Grain School in the Field is a 2-day field course organized through the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), taught for the first time in 2021 and offered on an annual basis held at various locations throughout Colorado during the growing season. These field-based courses are open to the public and students from various universities, including UCCS.

Grain School in the Field builds on Grain School online and includes a limited number of lectures and discussions by topic experts but focuses on workshops and hands-on learning with several tracks ranging from farming and processing to culinary applications.

The second Grain School in the Field is scheduled for summer 2022 in the San Luis Valley, Colorado. The field days are capped at 50 participants. More information to come soon!
